RIBA Plan of Work 2013 - Generic.jpg

J Mahoney Architects follows the RIBA Plan of Work. Services that can be provided can be broken down into the following stages:

Stage 1 & 2 - Brief & Concept Design

Adding value by design! The best way to brief a project is to understand the basic requirements of why the decision to invest in a scheme is to be embarked upon. In-depth analysis of the home may reveal that functionality existing within the existing walls and reconnecting outdated cellular layouts may provide the solution required, without great expense being outlaid.

Stage 3 - Developed Design (Planning Permission)

Transforming your ideas into reality. Think space, light, materials, size, scale. All expressed in a form that will seek the necessary planning, conservation or listed building consents for your project.

Stage 4 - Technical Design (Building Regulations & Tender)

A vision is no good without the ability to deliver. Your approved ideas a turned in to working packages of drawings you can take to your contractor of choice and legally build to.

Stage 5 & 6 - Construction

The devil is in the detail. Taking the approved building regulations drawings and creating a set of simple to understand and easy to implement drawings so your project can be delivered by your contractor as smoothly and quickly as possible.
